The Jeep Club of NSW is organising a Jeep Raid on Stockton beach - basically a big meetup of Jeeps - and have invited SJC to join them.
For anyone who hasn't been, Stockton Beach is a big dune playground and long beach drive from the Lavis Lane entrance to the Anna Bay exit.
From the carpark we will head towards the shipwreck. Jeep Club of NSW will be hosting a sausage sizzle at a small cost.
The trip is suitable for 4wd Jeeps - AWD vehicles will struggle on the soft sand.
Meeting point:
We'll meet at the Lavis Lane carpark at 9.00am to air down for a 9:30am departure
What to bring:
You will need to purchase a beach permit from the Metro service station opposite McDonalds at the intersection of Lavis Lane and Nelson Bay Rd.
Recovery gear and sand flag if you have it.
