Beat the Summer heat of the city and escape to the shady trees and cool clear waters of the Turon River National Park.
This will be a multi choice trip to start the year so you can choose your adventure.
You can camp with the kids on the 18th by the Turon by booking with National Parks, you can glamp at the Turon Gates Resort or you can just join us for a Day trip on the 19th..
It will be the school holidays so book your spot early to avoid disappointment.
The day trip will be split between a beginner group, with a route easily completed by standard low range Jeeps and advanced, a more challenging route for experienced and modified Jeeps only returning to Camp / River for lunch together.

- What to expect: tyre deep creek crossings, mud, rocks, ruts, wombat holes and hill climbs
Suitability: beginner to intermediate skill levels and all 4WD low range Jeeps welcome.
Numbers: Limited to 10 beginner and 10 experienced Jeeps.
Vehicle Requirements:
Beginners - none, vehicle recovery equipment if you have it (snatch strap, soft shackle, tread boards, tyre compressor, etc)
Advanced
Standard Rubicons / Modified Sports, Suspension lift / tyres. Recovery Gear Mandatory. Winch preferable.
Convoy Drills: Max Speed off road is 40Km/h. Remember, you are responsible for keeping the vehicle behind you in view. If not in view, wait and inform trip leader by radio. Comms: UHF Channel 15 (Club Channel). Comms check prior to convoy moves.
First Aid: All vehicles must carry first aid kits with participants knowledgeable on their use.
Resupply: BP Capertee is 10-15mins away. Please arrive with adequate fuel, water and food for the duration of participation.
Waste Disposal: bring it in – bring it out. Tread lightly.
