Ladies Drive Day
Lake Lyall/Rydal Area
This is an opportunity for partners who are usually in the passenger seat to have a turn at off road driving. The other halves can try the passenger seat for a change and offer their fantastic advice and guidance.
What to expect: Various grades, C/C+. Some areas may have a higher grade due to track wear etc.
Suitability: All skill levels and all 4WD Jeeps welcome (See Requirements below).
Numbers: Limited to 15 Jeeps including the trip leader.
Where: Lidsdale State Forest intent is to do various routes taking in the astounding scenery of the region.
Meet:Shell 1 Magpie Hollow Road South Bowenfels at 8.00am to depart at 8:30am.
Requirements: Recovery points front and rear, side/rock rails ideal, own recovery gear if needed, 2” lift would be beneficial in some of the areas to be covered, good off-road tyres.
Convoy: Max Speed off road is 40Km/h
Comms: UHF Channel 15 (Club Channel). Comms check prior to convoy moves.
First Aid: All vehicles must carry first aid kits with participants knowledgeable on their use.
Resupply: This is a remote area. Ensure adequate fuel, water and food for the duration of participation.
Waste Disposal: Pack it in – pack it all out.
