One time Ed was stuck in the mud and we pulled him out and later in the day I went into a ditch and I was winched out.
I want to follow the same route, this time avoiding those problems!
Lunch will be on top of Bonfire Hill with great views.
Any jeep with all terrain tyres and low range. There is a steep downhill bit everyone has to be guided over otherwise the route is straight forward.
Bring radio, recovery gear, drinking water and lunch.
Sunday 26th November. Meet at the 10:00am at the Shell garage on the corner of Magpie Hollow Road and the Great Western Highway, just south of Lithgow.
Some of us are camping on the Saturday night and you are welcome to join us. Camping details will follow.
